What is the relationship of wavelength and RGB strip quality?

Wavelength is key to the quality of RGB LED strips. It determines the purity and consistency of the colors, which are the most important indicators of a high-quality strip.

As we know, the quality of RGB LED strips is intimately linked to their wavelength. Simply put, wavelength determines the purity and consistency of colors, which are the core metrics for evaluating the quality of a RGB light strip.
Premium LED strips choose wavelengths that strictly match the standard "Primary Colors" for the most vivid and precise lighting. Red (R): Stay within 620-630nm. At 610nm, the red looks "cheap" and orangey; at 660nm, it becomes a dull, deep red. Green (G): The ideal range is 520-530nm for a true emerald green. Budget strips at 510nm or 550nm look washed-out, either too cyan or too yellow. Blue (B): Pure blue is achieved at 455-470nm. Anything below 450nm is too purple and harsh on the eyes (high-energy blue light), while anything above 480nm starts looking like sky blue.
Our RGB COB LED strips adapted premium LED chips to make sure primary colors( RED, GREEN, BLUE) are very correct. Below are the test report of our RGB COB LED strips;
